The Story of Sapphire and Arion: Love Sick

Beloved,

In the region of my heart you are King! I so declared you the King when you swayed my heart, not with words, but by a single glance.  My thoughts run out to meet you in this region.  I ponder your every gesture, word, expression you've so kindly given me.  How I wonder if you do the same. How I hold thoughts of you in good grace and seek relief from the wounds of your love.

Hope and despair have ensnared me both.  In my despair I flee from love's prison, and in my hope I remain willingly, without any wavering doubt, of our mutual affection towards each other.  Now you have left me in such a state, and my condition has taken a turn for the worse.  Enflamed with love's desire, I am love sick, and neither potion or a magic spell can bring me relief.

The Cause and Cure of Dis-ease

To be dissatisfied or unhappy about one’s lifestyle is to cause dis-ease.  We are here to overcome our problems and challenges, not to be subservient to them… or to other people.  Failure to do this results in anger, frustration, and general malcontent.

In direct connection to this dissatisfaction, many of our illnesses and injuries are self-created by means of the “I can’t” attitude.  We can’t see our way clear to solve the dilemma (eye problems), we can’t stomach the circumstances (stomach and digestive organs), or we lack the courage to stand up and declare our rights (feet and leg difficulties).  So, rather than lose face, we create an illness or injury sufficient to excuse ourselves from the scene or to punish ourselves for not finding a way to overcome the situation!  This is the basic underlying cause of disease.

Your dreams try to help you become aware of what you are creating before the situation manifests as an injury or disease in your body.  It takes real courage to stand up to authority figures, but once done it is worth the effort.  When we avoid this, the same type of problem will lift its ugly head again and again until one day you will say, Enough! I’ve had it! I won’t put up with this any longer!”  Then you will do what you should have done long ago.

CURE: First, the courage to stand up, face, and solve your problem firmly and intelligently.

Second, see the whole matter as a lesson necessary for your soul growth. (Remember, nothing happens by accident.)

Third, be willing to forgive yourself for any mistakes you feel you have made, and forgive those around you as well.

Last, make it a point to do the kind of things which make you truly happy. (To work at a job you hate or where conditions are upsetting can definitely make you ill!)  Strive toward goals that suit you and take time to play and relax often.  (If your job won’t let you, change it!)

Lamentations of the Mind

If I tire easily, my soul is at unrest.  All these thoughts I cling to:
obey
serve
love
hate
desire
fear
beauty
death
ugliness
joy
sorrow
mountain
sky
rise
sleep
and on and on and on.

All these thoughts trip me up.  Detached from them all, I am only spirit:
walking on clouds
sleeping in space
riding the stars
telling my stories to the moon.

My mind suspended I am free!

My Letter To God- Your Business

Dear God,

Do you intend to leave me in this state?  You reveal to me Eternity and go about your business while I am mortally wounded.  How fair is it of you to abandon your most devoted seeker?

You devastated my landscape.  Everything burned at the moment of your embrace.  You parted ways with my heart- that I eagerly sacrificed.  I touched the spheres of your Eternity and my world has turned now upside down!

There are holes in this reality where I am now a prisoner.  The heavy weight of my flesh keeps me and time as unfriendly jail mates.  Burden me God again with your business!  The business of this world is over rated and the spheres of Eternity are turning inside of me.  They keep me longing for nothing less.

Your Humble Lover

At Twilight

Because there is no substitute for vigorous and exact
description, I would like to say how
your eyes, at twilight, reflect, at the same
time, the beauty of the world, and its crimes.
