The Old Hag- The Missing Link

In April 1997 I went back home to Illinois. I visited with family and friends.  The house I grew up in, I refused to stay in. So I made the decision to stay with a friend for a few days and then my grandma's.  I would come to regret this decision.

My grandfather, a Christian man, had warned me as a young child that my grandmother was possessed by demons.  His words stuck with me, but I never truly believed him.

And so it happened one night, staying in the bedroom that was my mom's as a child.  I laid in the bed afraid to fall asleep.  I felt an evil presence.  As I lay there, I looked up at the ceiling and saw three black masses swirling around.  One by one they attacked me.  It felt like a sudden zapping of my energy.

I began to pray to God. I remained watchful, terrified that if I fell asleep something even worse would happen to me.  The dark masses continued their attacks.  I am not sure how much time passed.  I did eventually fall asleep.  I did not tell a soul what had happened.

After many years of research and experience, I have come to the conclusion that what I experienced is all related to the Old Hag.  It seems to me that from my visit back home something followed me back to Arizona.

Looking back I realize two things: Firstly, that there was a battle for my soul.  Secondly, family curses are real.  So in conclusion it is now my firm belief that not only are places haunted, but people are too.

Demonology 101:

~Entities feed off of negative emotions and family.
~Entities that drain a life force may be dormat for a long time, waiting for a energy boost from a human.
~They are capable of following a person.
~You have to remain positive and vigilant in keeping your family bonded, this diverts the entity.
